Finally finished Exodius's design, here he is around 17 years old, and with it comes a lot more information:

First facts about him:
1. As stated in my previous Story post, he is the prince of Sheterra (read if you haven't yet: www.deviantart.com/genoglitch/… ), but nobody in the kingdom knows who his father is. He is quiet, shy, and tries to be kind to everyone, even the lowest criminals as he believes everybody has a reason to go down a dark path in the first place. Sadly, this personality only really shines through when he is visiting the different towns and cities with the chiefs, since in the castle, he soon becomes 'dull'.
Outsiders don't know why, the chiefs suspecting the gem, which Exodius partially agrees with. He is plagued with headaches whenever in the castle, unable to concentrate on things for very long, and making even thinking a shore. But he's also sure something, or rather someone else is responsible for them too, feeling as if there is always a shadow behind him whenever he moves in the castle, but he doesn't know who, or what, it is. They have 'seen' it's appearance in some dreams, but he usually forgets it again willingly. Exodius, because of these headaches and nightmares, gets very little sleep, and though physically he never shows signs of any illness, it is slowly but surely declining.

2. He's best friends with the coyote chief's son Skeimar, a hedgehog coyote hybrid, who has taken to the seas as a pirate, having led to tensions between him and his father. Skeimar and Exodius get along wonderfully, and when they don't see each other, they write letters just to know how the other is doing.

3. Exodius's mother has resisted marrying him off to anyone yet, but recently gave in, leading to her planning an arranged marriage for him with a foreign princess, her father being the king of a country Sheterra trades the most with *cough*Scarlet*cought*. When Skeimar found out, he had been uniquely outraged and instantly offered Exodius to take him away, but Exodius refused, duty coming before everything else, even if he doesn't like the idea of marriage.

4. Exodius does have a royal gift, though only Skeimar and his mother know what it is: Polymorphic Voice. He can do two things with his voice. Firstly, he can mimic any voice as long as he has heard it before. Secondly, with enough practice he can create 'new' voices on his own to use. His quiet shy one for example he was trained to use by his mother from an early age, leaving his real voice rarely used. Said real voice is actually quite deep and growly, only having gotten deeper over the years as he grew older. Skeimar found out about this voice when Exodius had visited him on his ship and Skeimar had gotten the idea to scare him with a large spider he brought from overseas. He didn't expect to basically hear demonic death metal screeching as Exodius had gotten on a table and refused to go down.

5. He is an earth wielder, though technically on Sheterra, he would be a mixer. Next to earth, he is capable of a weird magic which lets him and the other wielders who had popped up do various things, from stuff as simple as casting illusions, to a peasant accidentally using necromancy. The coyote chief suspects it to perhaps be blood magic and tries to get them to Cosium as soon as possible, hoping for assistance there as Sheterra has too little knowledge about any magic other than earth.

6. He is the half-brother to another OC of mine, Luminos. They share the same father but are unaware of it, none of the two having any knowledge who their father was anyway.

And now a bit to his design:
The halo is mostly there for fun to be honest, as it does not have a purpose in the (still vague) story I'm planning, but some other details are important. Sheterra is known to celebrate the sun, moon and stars, so Exodius as its prince does wear at least one of these symbols whenever he goes anywhere. Sheterra is also known for its mines and the minerals in there, and his crown is made of some of the rarest they have on the island, known as evening ore. The dark gems inside it have been dug out from one of the volcano mines. Lastly, the make-up he wears does serve a spiritual purpose. Being a desert island, Sheterra heavily relies on rain, and celebrates it too. Sheterra's royalty thus is known to wear blue make-up when the rains bless their land to passively celebrate it every day, but if it is stuck in a drought, said make-up takes on a new form and orange color.

And that was all I had, I hope this wasn't too much information, but I am excited to share these characters.
