Description
"The shot heard 'round shook the Earth with great resound, lanterns lit, riders fled, to warn the farms and towns. The call to arms united them, in grim determination, they vowed to see the Eagle born, and made their declaration. Honour-bound and bred, they stood as one, in their defiance; a Continental Army raised on common man's alliance. For Liberty, the fire, in the hearts men did forge the will to break the shackles free...and shape them into swords."
an invasion that was believed in the eyes of humanity, could shift the tide of war, the all-out Satan's invasion into Continental United States through the Southwest region, has been raging for more than exactly two years now, the natural beautiful desert of Arizona and New Mexico turned into unexpected meatgrinders with Allied trenches are filled up with fired projectiles, bloody bodies with their limbs gone as a lot of blood oozing outta those terrifying sight of corpses, landships wrecked and left behind on the battlefield, horned devils on the ground, their heads or their guts wiped out by .50 BMGs, L2A1's 75mm shells landing and directly hitting their demon targets - causing destructive effects on the charging enemy and Texan urban cities were razed down, became militarized zones and an unrecognizable pretty-turned-into-hell city from it's pre-invasion self.
This horrifying invasion bolstered American nationalism, even the Ku Klux Klan opted to abandon prosecuting Catholics and Afro-Americans in Dixieland to form humanitarian assistance and go as far as enlisting in the U.S. military, the nation and it's society became united in the face of total danger, human slavery and eternal torture. From George Washington's crossing of the Delaware River, to the fields of Shiloh Hill, to the hidden stain of America's colonialism to Satan's glorious foray into American soil, this war has seen more than a million American casualties coming from most fronts, primarily the Southwest, and this only fueled not only American - but also the Allies' and the International community to never back down and formally surrender, it's prime goal is to continue fighting even if there are only less than a million people alive, Hell existing meant that Heaven exists too, but they don't know the fact that Jesus and his fellow angels were in prison and tortured for the rest of their lives...
Knock!
Mr. Hoover was sitting on his swivel chair, he looked like he had a bad day, all that non-smiley face and inaudible grumbling. He didn't heard the knock, for was he focused on thinking, until someone behind the office's door knocked again - louder. Hoover was startled and told, "Alright! Come in."
the door was being opened, 31st Vice President Charles Curtis holding a document on his right hand, "Mr. Curtis?" Hoover questioned and added, "What brings you here?", Hoover finished as he sat up straight.
"Herbert, it's our proposed T-36 Mark 1 armor and separating the 1st Battalion away from the 75th Rangers, some of our demands did not meet accordingly." Curtis said with a somewhat disappointed tone and face, although he seems okay to others...
which Hoover noticed, "Are you sad about it, or just fine with it?" the President questioned, Curtis' eyebrows were raised and answered back with a simple, "I'm okay" and a nod. "So which demands that aren't accepted?" Hoover asked with a worrying tone, Curtis then goes on "It's the separation from the Rangers, it's denied - they'd say it'd be too costly and we've been handing out money to every single divisions and regiments in the Army, the armor... well it isn't exactly refused but it had to be toned down, they say the armor's material which is titanium had to be moved down to 3-inch steel armor to reduce the weight-mass burden on our Ranger veterans, including more funding to the 1/75th was denied as well, the others are accepted."
Hoover was relieved, he laid back onto his swivel chair and 180 rotated it towards the Oval Office's windows, where looked to the outside which he saw the South Lawn of the White House - observing that the security is really tight, Secret Service agents assisted by FBI and Virginian national guardsmen, apparently yesterday there were four women with red eyes and suddenly disappeared, the public, including the president, never heard of them again, he chuckled because those ladies little know - they are going to be tortured by an 'allegedly-homosexual' in charge of the FBI, John Edgar Hoover. Other than that, the streets of D.C. were depressing, it was heavily militarized as trucks transport recently graduated recruits from West Point, Fort Drum and any other notable northern military installations, mothers holding their children to collect the remaining bread, vegetables and fruits near the Washington Monument, yet it was the 4th of July, nobody has fired a firework since morning or were enthusiastic about it, another usual day of the conflict, truly saddening to see.
"Herbert?" Curtis said to catch his attention, not long as Hoover later turned around and moved towards the desk, where he first looked at the document and eyed up to Charles, "Anything to report anymore?", "None, I'll update you on the proposal though." Curtis ended, "Alright... dismissed, go do your thing." the Vice President rotated and walked away from the office, Hoover laid back, rather sleepy, where he eventually fell asleep after resisting the tiredness.
the next day, Hoover-Curtis' proposal for the T-36 MKI and the reform process of the 1/75th Rangers is complete, while the 1st Battalion had seen combat and currently still using the prototype armor, they will wear the Mark 1 Variant. These Rangers use a reddish-night vision M28A2 gas masks, M1916 Stahlhelms and .45-ACP to .30-06 Springfield weaponry for intimidation, firepower and special reasonings.
