Im a big fan of nintendo universe, specially I love Zelda and Mario games, not only for the gameplay, also for the characthers. Miyamoto is a genius!
A friend is always making fun about the "childish" look of mario, link, etc., the fun fact is he like the gameplay of Zelda games, but he hates how Link looks.
he said:
"link looks like a girl, you know what he need? A BEARD, MUSCLES, GRIMDARK, TEXTURES, POUCHES, MORE REALISTIC, BE A BADDAS MANLY LINK!!!"
I said:

I would definitely play a Zelda game with this version of Link! I love the cigar sticking out of his mouth, it offsets the fairy nicely.

he is the father of Link decedent of the very first Legend of Zelda game's Link. it never really gives any guesses of who his parents are. that is why Link is the only one that can save the world every game, he is descended from greatness.

I do think that it might be cool if Link was a little less βprettyβ but the big brute look doesnβt suit him at all. Plus, if they do that then they will just abandon a hero clichΓ© (noble pretty boy) to turn him into another hero clichΓ© (overly-muscular meathead).
