With the (awesome) flashbacks going on in the manga and the fillers start in anime (again)... I miss the Arrancar already!!!
Oh btw, this is an old drawing, like a year ago...
I never thought I'd finish coloring it, a tribute to the fallen Espada and to those who are about to!

Indeed. I never expected them to be part of Soul Society however. They most likely were banned around the same time Kisuke was.
I'm betting the Hougyoku is responsible for the suddenly hollow transformations, and that Isshin was affected as well, but in order to prevent him from becoming a Vaizard, Urahara did some experiments which caused him to lose his powers, up until the Arrancar arc.

Well, at least they were all part of the Espada at one point in time. You just need Neliel in there somewhere and you'd have all known Espada, former and current.
