Yet another time during the Dominion War that Twilight was forced to fire her weapons: photon and quantum torpedoes, to save another Starfleet vessel in distress. Capt. Harker was faced with a quandary: the Jem'Hadar weren't even targeting us! They KNEW we were a medical research vessel, and strictly "hands-off" even during wartime. However, I couldn't just stand by and do NOTHING while another Federation starship was being fired upon. I also knew that if I opened fire, I'd have to completely destroy those Jem'Hadar fighters, for if they escaped, they'd report that we'd entered combat. Decisions, decisions...and, I'd taken a Hippocratic Oath LONG before I signed on as a Starfleet officer....Related content

Is this the Dominion War? Twilight took part in it. As a medical vessel, we were considered strictly "off-limits" in combat. When we answered a distress call by an Akira-Class starship, I was left with a fateful decision, both as a medical doctor and captain of the Twilight. I knew we had to rescue our fellow starfleet vessel--but I couldn't allow those two Jem'Hadar fighters to escape, either. They'd quickly spread the word that we were now considered a target. We used our Federation cloaking device to sneak up on them, dropped cloak, and fired all four of our Quantum Torpedoes, annihilating the Jem'Hadar before they realized what was happening. I violated my Hippocratic Oath that day...but saved over 500 Federation lives.
