Another piece for my AP Art concentration! Originally this was drawn to be a Pakistani bride, inspired by my two dear friends (& their sister) who showed me some pictures of their relative getting married. It didn't really do justice to Pakistani wedding garb, though. In retrospect, & for the AP test, I made her a "dhimmi," which is the name for a Christian (or Jew, but working with the halo here) within the ancient Arab Muslim empires. Ancient Muslim empires are some spiffy jazz, you should go read up on them.

I like the Christian-y moon-halo thing going on, in any case.
