Description
fallow-deer (ok ok... so it's not an Eland - happy ?Shot* at Carmel Mountain
* Shot : After several people have "complained", I just want to clear that it's photographer's slang, I'm not shooting animals by guns, I'm shooting with my camera with the reason to show others this beautiful and pure animal that we have on earth.
Cheers

Awesome! I'd hate to even think how long you had to wait and how many shots you had to take to get this! lol..

they are such sweet animals, very attentive and gentle. i love that you captured this fleeting creature so well. there are so many times when i wish i could've had a camera with me for these sorts of things. i saw a buck once, standing under a tree while i was driving by. a wonderful sight indeed.

Beautiful piece of photography, the details are clear-'shot' during the morning? I like the way that at once she seems beautiful and majestic, but at the same time small in comparison to the view behind her. Must have been a rather humbling experience.
Congrats on the DD, too. :3

Wow. Were you using a telephoto lens for this or did you get that close? Either way, beautiful!

As long as it's a black lens and not a white Canon's L, it's ugly

geostant In reply to Sevel [2006-05-05 22:11:09 +0000 UTC]
The white ones, made by Canon are the best ones, the are from series "L"
and have a red edge, another symbol for the luxery optics

Depand on the focal length
The 600mm F4 and the 400mm F2.8 cost about $7,000

Heh, ironic that one of the best compliments on a photo is that one thought it was a painting.
