ah, I got this. This represents the wonder a child has for the underwater world (or anyone's wonder) but a child's uncertainity of the unknown with the still subconcious truth that if humans cannot stay in fantasy and wonder forever and to do so would mean the death of reality and fantasy. The child's dreams will run out of oxygen just like air if they under too long but the wonder and fantasy are always still there, whether we believe it or not.

The more I look at this the more I like the elements. The underwater fire is a bit of cognitive dissonance, though. I think maybe adding some more green tones to it might help, but I'm not sure.

They are my own photos overlapped together with layers in photoshop, also some tweak on the colors and levels + some blending. That's basically it
