Description
The episode of Love Death and Robots "Swarm" features two scientists studying an "allegedly" utopian alien ecosystem in a hollow asteroid called the Swarm, in where tons of different unrelated species seem to coexist peacefully. The story takes a rather surprising yet interesting twist in the end. When the Swarm hive mind reveals that most of the creatures there are actually the descendants of sapient species that they've selectively bred into mindless animals after defeating them in war, and that they threaten to do the same to humanity if they ever intrude into their territory. It was so cool to see such a niche, spec evo plot line integrated into a mainstream Tv show, so I had to cook up my own hypothetical worst case scenario of mankind being altered and assimilated into the swarm a few million years after their defeat.

Its spindly arms and hooked claws allow it to traverse the Swarm by climbing across the cave walls. They can also getting around by pushing themselves off the walls. Large eyes help them see in the dimly lit caverns they inhabit. In spite of the fangs, they'll eat pretty much any organic matter they can get their hands on. They are often prone to aggression and will tear apart intrudes in large groups if provoked. Perhaps a remnant of their super soldier glory days, combating their own kind.
