In the Japanese alps, one may hear a loud roar, not of a dragon, but the jets of one. soaring high in the sky is a Jettoburasuto. The fastest dragon to ever evolve. Using biological jets these dragons can reach unimaginable speeds, with the oldest reaching the speed of sound. It's primary form of attack is by dive bombing it's targets with it's pin point accuracy and explosive scarlet flames. while the jets doo all the propulsion, the wings and tailfin steer the creature and are what actually allow it to fly, if the dragon manages to sever a tail fin, or wing, it's flying days are over. Unless someone builds it a prosthetic fin. The heat the jet engines create are then radiated from the multiple sails adorning it's body, including it's wing membranes and tail fins, causing them to glow orange. This species' greatest competitor are the nekokori, a species of feline capable of breathing an icy mist that douses the dragon's jets, hindering it's ability to fly.
