A soldier is left alone in a field to bleed out when a small cat stops by to say hello. Inspired by an anti-war film I watched in High School. I remember being really struck by the way children and teens were conditioned into the roles of soldiers, and how fast everything they knew about war could change once exposed to the true horrors of war.
