No it doesn't necessarily mean you're sexless.
And what a horrible way to dispersonate someone by calling them a Barbie Doll (nothing against people who ID as real life Barbie Dolls but this isn't about them)!
The term non-binary has existed for many years but historically, it was mainly called third-gender. Heck in Native American culture, people who are trans, non-binary or androgynous overall are marked as Two-Spirit (me included as I'm part Ojibwa and Inuit). It's literally an identification that has existed ever since animals made an appearance! Just recent years have we created actual terms for it that make sense.

YOU HAVE FULL RIGHTS TO CHOOSE YOUR GENDER. NO ONE can tell you what you can/can't be.
Being transgender is not a mental disorder, asexuals can still have sex if they want, and non-binary/agender people are valid. Same goes for pansexuals (like me).
I also want to point out that while you can change your gender at any time, you can't change your biological sex AKA what you identify as at birth (or basically what's in your pants.). Why? Because paramedics NEED to know what your biological gender/sex is in order to get the correct information. Failure to do that could result in the doctors getting the wrong information, costing you time, money or worse; your LIFE.
How do I know? I've a friend whose boyfriend explained that to them.

That's very true. You can't simply choose a gender to identify as and that's something I've been struggling to tell people who don't understand how it works (as I'm a non-binary individual if you haven't notice yet). The only things you can choose are labels, pronouns and names (though it can depend especially with the pronouns part). A gender is something that comes naturally to you as you mature.
Since when did we even choose to be a living creature anyway? Same basic idea.
