Description Ghoner's shaders are nothing more than some photoshop layer style, but they are somehow complex and react on what they are applied, like real 3d shaders...the fire can light the surrounding walls in one of your picture. the water can be a few drops or a raging waterfall, its texture will adapt to your need, and it's color can be changed while still looking like liquid. As for the metal and marble, with a few adjustement it can change any shape into cool metalic stuff, swords and armor include.

They are not especially realistic, just neat. I don't do into realistic drawing anyway, i'm more in the anime/manga style.

Here's concrete example of these effects in use:

water: [link]

metal: [link]

Please keep in mind That english is not my native language and that my photoshop isn't in english either, so the explanations in the psd file might be confusing especially if you're not a regular photoshop user. I tried my best to use the right words and all, but I didn't want to spent the next month on this either. If you know what a photoshop layer is and are aware of the existence of layer styles, you should be fine.

ALSO, I made this on photoshop 7. Usually newer programs are backward compatible, so photoshop cs 2-3-4 should be able to open this .psd correctly. I hope so.

To get the .psd containing the examples and layer styles, just hit the deviantart "download" button. Unzip, and open with photoshop.

It's my first "file" uploading on deviantart, I hope everything go smoothly.

I don't claim copyrights for this or whatever. I didn't invent anything, the options and functions always been there, I just used them for some specific purpose. so use them freely and as much as you want.

Have fun tweaking the options, and if you use them in some picture, tell me!
I want to see what you folks can do with this!
