good sense of colours. the landscape cuts off a bit suddenly though, it has the feeling that the bushes are pasted on top of ground eg the curve of the hillside he's on doesn't show itself which makes the entire piece a bit flatlike, along with the perspective on the character (the way I see it his left shoulder is too low, plus the facial features (though that might be affected by the shoulders) both are rather small points but take away from the immediate WOA impact of the piece.
