Shujaa was on his way to start his training with the guard, which has been changed a lot because of Kion and Vitani. Now, females can join the gaurd and other species. But, if another species joins, they became a lion, they eat with the pride, they hunt with the pride, they can only marry a lion, and their species won't be protected by the gaurd. Many were okay with that, even the lions, but having females join annoyed Shujaa. The gaurd was the males job, hunting and caretaking were for the females. And one female that goes to his trainings absolutely bothers him, Mimi. She was always stupidly happy, annoying, cheerful, and always wants to hang out with him. He noticed she was running towards him, time for another terrible walk to the elephant graveyard.
Mimi: Hi, Shujaa!
Shujaa: What do you want, Mimi?
Mimi: I just wanted to say hi.
There was silence for a few seconds.
Mimi: Who's Scar?
Shujaa: My grandfather, now leave me alone.
Mimi: Why is he feared?
Shujaa: He did terrible things, like eat chatty cubs like you... It's genetic, so if you annoy me enough, I will eat you.

Mimi: You only hang out with Kenna, Kifo, and Kuribu, well also me. The other cubs don't hang out with you.
Shujaa gave her a face that said "shut up or I'll kill you", but she didn't mind. She kept trying to make conversation. They made it to the elephant graveyard and in the lion gaurd base. Vitani scolded them for being late, but that day was when the mark will be painted one their shoulder by Rafiki and they would get their titles.
