Opal is really good at talking but also listening. Sunbear ran away just like she did, trying to escape his life back at home. A little heart-to-heart later, Sunbear helps remove the horn that was stuck on the opals forehead, and in exchange, Opal keeps them company. Which is very vague, but Opal agrees so long as she can still travel if she wants. And they do, all around Equestria, and return to the dimension that sun created in the Everfree Forest. Everything is great, but both creatures of magic have unfinished business back at home. Magic earth ponies are getting ‘lost’ in the ever-free forest, and the princess is starting to catch on that something strange is going on in there. The royal guards keep getting closer and closer to them when they are traveling, intercepting the news of sanctuary. Do they want to face their past with their heads held high or wait till they are captured? Either way, their time living their lives how they want is going to be cut short.
