Storm Chaser was able to break open the dragon egg to become a princess apprentice but didn't hold enough magic in her body to keep the dragon alive. Her sorrow created a massive hurricane that sat upon canterlot for days, no pony was able to leave their homes to comfort the poor Pegasus. The moon queen herself heard of this and came to the young pony's aid. She was the last to become the next harmony holder. After the battle of the sun and moon she got promoted to princess the process completely changed her body and cutie mark. Her sky magic was so strong she became Black ice and was put in charge of the wild frozen north and make it inhabitable.
