First artwork I made in 2023!
I had this idea simply as 'a blue sunrise', quite simple.

They wake in the small field it chose to rest in, almost 19 hours had passed since the new sun had set.
Many others fled when the old sun vanished, or was destroyed, and replaced by the new one. It isn't like the old, and everyone else fears it, except them.

As they stand on the small mound, watching as the star rises above the horizon, the smile blankly knowing everyone will be retreating to the darkness again, despite having loved the warmth and brightness of the old star.

When the new star fully rises, the magical blue spreading across the sky, they continue walking their path, that not even they can see, unsure of where it is going, or what else is on the path.
