They are 28mm scale. I think in some of the tabletop forums around the net you might find size comparisons with other gaming systems. Try "size comparison dust tactics" in google image search.

I did not like the Zombies when I first saw the official pictures from FFG. After I got them as a present I started painting them differently and now I really like the figures.

Great interpretation of the Axis Zombies
I like how you went for richer, fuller colours (more flesh tone, green uniform, red on the fists) in comparison to the greyish-look the official models on the box bear.
