well i havent posted anything for a while...since me puter took a crap....so i scanned some new work out of my skechbook.....ill clean them up when i finish puting my new pc together.oh..it was done with pen & ink, prisma color markers....and a little white colored pencil.
yes, this was very inspired by Feng Zhu work.
id been studing his design work as of late....how he works and his tools....just amazing.

whatever you do don't "color" it. It already looks colored to me.
Nice job on the shadows, and design. The non-symmetrical/identical arms really work, 'specially wit that sinister look.

It's been so long since I've worked in markers.
But how in the hell did you get that crisp color?
No matter how much I tried I always had streaks.
No matter how many blenders I used.

i dont know some peices look off to me, the peices on the upper arm seem to be in differnt spots, hip peice seems a bit skewed, it would have to be comming forward allot not to see the top of it. and the lighting seems to be just there, not directional. the peices above the wrist cylinder seem to be different to, one seems angular and flat the other seems rounded and taller, just trying to give some cc, the guy does look sweet and im just being picky.

arghhhhhhh a giantrobo. very well drawn. i love it. the style is exactly like what my animation character concept class teaches. of course, very much inspired by the guy who designed for star wars. i really like the little dtails you added to it--the bullet holes or just textures.
and i really like it cause you used the cool gray which is my favorite compared to warm gray.
very very nice... when i look at it, he actually looks adorable to me. i wonder why? must be the thing on his head.
