must be hard to create 2D into 3D but this is done very well, i wish i had 3D S MAX the one i downloaded had a virus

Clearly this is a bad ass (fictional) weapon that fires high powered ammo.
The chamber length is fine. It's large to provide different grain rounds. That calliber round is fine, it has a decent size slug with a rifle size charge, and like a rifle, the rounds are rather pointy. I'm not sure what's going on with the rounds on the left. Their not hollowpoints. Hollowpoints are hollow inside, They don't actually LOOK any different.

Is this the latest version of Max? I've never seen renders from said program so realistic looking.

complaints: handle, hollow-tip bullets, bullet length vs. chamber length, the hammer looks cocked but shouldn't be when un/reloading, the hammer looks a little small and oddly positioned.
This brings you down to 98%, but I don't render so in my book I gues that makes it...let's see, round up the...carry the...Yes, 145%

You're off to a good start but here are some things that you could tweak:
1) The handle should be thicker... if you held that and fired, it would hurt your hand holding something that skinny.
2) What calibre of bullets are those? From my knowledge (im not gunsmith), those rounds don't exist... The bullet should be smaller than the shells, unless ofcourse its for a rifle. Also not as pointy.
3) I assume those are hollow-point bullets on the left side? If they were that hollow, they wouldn't be very affective, make the hole smaller.
Otherwise... lookin pretty good! =]

You fix the grip, it'll look perfect, also if you change the ground to dusty, it'll look as if it's been pulled out of Trigun.
