Also when you were talking about the something missing with the horns, I think it's just the way the neck is portrayed and arched, because i don't seem to have that problem (maybe that's why some people always draw with the S curves)?

This is an awesome tutorial. Love that you Show what you reference but also remind us that it's not a real creature (quite some tutorials seem to think there is only "the way" to draw Dragons :-/ ).

Hi, thanks so much for this tutorial! I'm in the middle of a rather huge dragon drawing at the moment and the tips you've given here (to do with muscle/bone structure and even just the sketches you've provided) have been wonderfully helpful in building a dragon 'character'!
