Thats a fantastic clown! He may be pretty sad, but he still expresses what he feels by his expression, I think it's amazing how you showed it through a clown .. Most of the people are afraid of it, but this one's amazingly different.

I only just saw this on the daily deviation and looking at the comments, EmperorOfIceCream is wrong. Escher didn't have this sort of class. He was busy drawing stairs! lol. This is an amazing piece and I am honoured to have it in my favourites.

Interesting piece... Very imaginative! Reminds me of the fairytale about the man who played a flute and made all the rats in the village follow him out in the woods.... (can't remember the name)
I don't understand it.... The title is "Silent", but there's notes in the pic that subjects music, but he isn't playing the flute. Is there a story behind it? If so, I would really like to hear it

This is awesome! When I first saw this as a thumbnail it looked like it was a macabre version of the scarecrow from the wizard of oz lol This is really cool though... I love the surrealistic qualities to it! You did very well at composing and shading this piece. I almost wished it were a little bit bigger though because there is so much cool stuff going on in this piece that I want to look at detail. :shrugs: Oh well it is still really awesome!
