Description
After the destruction of the Coventry Factory by the Luftwaffe on 14th November 1940, the Triumph 3HW was born out of the ashes. Production was restarted in an old foundry works in Warwick which was able to start producing motorcycles in June 1941.

The 3HW was specifically created for the military & based on the pre-war 3H model. About 40,000 were built for the war effort. It was used on many campaigns, including North Africa, India, and Greece.

My version of this iconic motorcycle is displaying both the emblem of the 15th Scottish Infantry, an infantry division of the British Army that served with distinction in both World War I and World War II & the Royal Coat of Arms Scotland.

Many thanks to Pumpkinhead 3D for hosting this fabulous model. It was a huge challenge & pleasure to re-assemble and texture all 450 parts! I made one significant change and redesigned the dispatch bags so that they resemble the originals used during World War II.
