Description
The Kothi use advanced methods, on a large scale, to extract gold from the extensive alluvial deposits in Sector Seven. Mining is under the control of the state but the mines are also leased to exploitive contractors. They have no concern for the miners, or the devastating impact on the invironment. Their only goal is profit. The gold recovered by the state helps finance the growth of the Kothi Empire, and was an important motive in the Invasion of the Tromani by Zemonus the Conqueror in 35 A.D. ( after the destruction) His exploits are shown in grand regalia on the Column of Zemonus in the Metropolis of Vandalia.
