Description
The Phright deck (and its various sub-names) was born out of me wanting to re-create my love of FNAF 3, both in terms of gameplay and theme. I already had some drafts made at that point, but the main concern was how to make a FNAF-inspired deck without, you-know, using official renders of FNAF. I quickly learned that using inspired renditions and artworks was the way to go, as Konami themselves makes artworks that are inspired by their source material, like in the case of Kaijus (Godzilla franchise) and Kozmo (Wizard of Oz + Star Wars). After learning that loophole-like detail, I realized I could do something exciting that I've never done before with one of my decks: Splicing together artworks myself. I was ecstatic when, despite my zero knowledge of editing artworks/renders, I could potentially make something good enough for a deck to use. After collecting and some slight tweaking with artworks/renders I found on DA here, what you see is the final result of that makeshift artwork splicing! I feel happy with my artwork splicing attempt, and I hope you all like it as well.
Once I made the artworks, I wanted the deck they were going to be used for to be robust, instead of a semi-gimmicky deck like a few other decks I've posted. So I went back to the effect drafts I made to re-work them, and came up with the coherent Control/Beatdown Towers deck you see before you; all while still retaining most of the elements of the older effect drafts and the boss fight-like theme with Springtrap in FNAF3! I absolutely love how simplistic yet effective the Phantoms turned out to be, and how they are the main crux the deck hinges on.
With all that being said, I'm really happy with this deck and the evolution it had, as well as containing self-made/spliced artworks! The deck is very flexible in testing, only taking about 15-20 cards worth of space in the Main Deck if you are smart with your Phantom ratios, meaning you can comfortably fill in the rest of the deck with whatever you wish, be it 9-12+ handtraps, other engines, whatever you desire!
