you're welcome ^^ It really looks beautiful with background, even if the background is just a pattern.
(not saying your art was ugly before, it's always been super pretty ^^)
Now here's some more tips: (you dont have to do this, just some ideas)
maybe draw a character sleeping in a bed, eating at a café, stading in the rain under an umbrella, stuff like that ^^ It gives the characters such an interesting story :3
