This reminds me of a book I read. I can't remember the title off the top of my head, but the main character was described similarly to how this boy looks. His name as Bean. :]

I love the look on his face! The composition is wonderful, and the lighting of him and only him. I love the shadows in the background too, as if the world just fases away when you're in your own world.
