Description
Till the end of days or at least till tonight
Your power will hold against the forces of this sun
Your flaming branches fill the air with the smell of life
Your fighting for survival is what makes me appreciate another day

HDR based on 5 Infra Red shots.

I love the use of hdr with IR having done a 360 degree ir/hdr photostitch that I then used polar co-ordinates to wrap into a circle, 54 shots I think it was in the end! Never tried it close up though as the conditions have never been right to get the same shot with no movement over the longer exposures. But with a modified D80 on the way I might give it a go.

Very interesting concept! Not only is this an image of the physical tree, of it's aura, but it also has the feeling this tree is revealing it's existence on another plateau/plain .. very ethereal ..
Great concept ..

It's the first Infra Red HDR shot I see, and I must say that it's fabulous ! This palette of colors is wide for an infrared shot but it's even more attractive. I love this orange and the blue that on the bottom of the tree, it's so unusual to see those kind of colors on a photograph. The wheat gives a blurry effect (maybe because of the wind there was) and it's very "magical" and even "heavenly".
It gives a dreamy touch that contrasts with the vivid orange on the top.

very beautiful. The foreground has a nice texture but it is perhaps too much for the one photo, I find it a bit distracting, then again that's just an opinion

תמונה עוצמתית ומרגשת
התחלתי לנסות את הטכניקה הזו לאחרונה, עדיין לא עם אינפרארד אבל בכל זאת אני אשמח לקבל את חוות דעתך עליה,

haahhahh this is really incredible, but comp could be wider to give more space on both side of tree

Very impressive. i like the graduation effect in the sky and that, together with the white foreground grasses(?) frames and emphasises the tree lifting it above the level of a straight record type shot.
