a portrait ive been periodically working on of charlotte!! ive been using it as a warm up for the past month or so and i finally finished it this specific state shes in is the one at the very end of Blackthorne, Sweetbrier. after all that has happened to her she is still alive and kicking. hyssop, whose relation i wont fully reveal here, finally gets to paint her portrait to hang it on the family tree wall. it can be rather bittersweet to be accepted by the people who made your life hell and have scarred you so intensely, but sometimes its nice to look back and see where you came from and all the hardships you have overcome. its nice to know you are a part of a family, if only for it to be a reflection of your ability to change yourself and end the pattern
