Finally finished my Steampunk picture
Don't ask me how much time that did cost, feels like ages. But at least I kinda like it though the gold is horribly shaded.
Well, thinking of equipment was fun, sketching was fun, coloring was less fun and shading was a painintheyouknowwhere. Anyways, I'm proud of this.
The story is... not easy to understand if you don't know Cayette Valadez and his abilities... and his past with the Kammuniak family

She was the lover of a time traveler, they said. She was covered in watches and clocks and she longed for the sky as she longed for an earlier time period.

Jana tightened the last girths on her horse's tack. There were many little things on Keksi and she accepted them all for they made her look pretty. And being pretty meant being looked at and being a centre of attention, the blue eyes of the mare sparkled. "That's what you like, don't you?", Jana said while patting her neck. The woman remembered her unusual shopping tour where she got that leather corset, the blouse and the skirt. A little smile appeared on her face. She had no feelings for her companion any more, but it had been a nice day. She actually missed those trips though she'd never admit it.
Cayette came with her and watched her preparing Keksi for their turn. 'Damn, she does look sexy in that stuff.', he thought secretly and told Jana: "You have about half an hour left." The brunette nodded and mounted her Steampunk mare. Her looked none like hers, but she kind of liked it. Cay walked along and leaned on the fence when the girls warmed up. Jana had a soft hand on the hard leather reins and focused on her seat. She felt uncomfortable as she wasn't used to corsets anymore.
"Relax, you're way to tense." Cayette said after a few moments later shaking his head. "She's not my horse, it isn't my event of choice and I feel strange." She really liked the 18th and 19th century,but hasn't been there in some time and one trip couldn't bring back everything - especially not her riding skills in those dresses. Jana missed it and couldn't understand why she actually agreed to enter. A rather quiet voice in her head told her: "You hoped to get him taking you on a trip again.", but Jana refused to listen. It was the truth, but she hide it very well. "Take a breath as deep as you can and try to focus again.", Cay told her. Keksi felt that there was something wrong and got nervous. "Okay. Calm down, Keksi. Everything will be fine.", Jana whispered and stroke over Keksi's neck. Still a bit tense, the girls rode some figures they'd show later,too. But it was getting more relaxed and loose. Cay smiled, Jana slowly came back to her old form. She became the girl he had loved, the girl who had loved him.
"Jana Kammuniak und Kekszessin, please.", the steward said and showed the two to go to the arena. "Good Luck.", Cay called after them.
