There's always next year, and there's always the ghost pepper sauce in the cabinet if I ever want to burn someplace down in February. Whatever...I was getting tired of bashing my head against the top of the doorframe, anyways."

Phew, now I can go to bed at a reasonable hour!

Yeah, Smaugust can get a bit hectic for me, as much as I enjoy doing it; usually because I try to finish something more in-depth before midnight, and I realize a little too late that I won't have it done in time, so I have to come up with something different that I can do more quickly.

Oh, well, it was fun, nonetheless. And now that it's September, I won't feel weird drinking those darned pumpkin spice coffee pods we bought.
...nice segue, i know. XDDD

EDITS, 9/1/23: Fixed an error with the calendar in the last panel and edited the angle to look at the floor in the second half of the second panel.
