I have not attempted snow since last winter, (I usually feel like a snowy landscape when there's real snow outside)
but I was looking through a national geographic and came across an article on greenland in winter. It inspired me!

I was tired of seeing drab, black white and blue-grey snow paintings all over. WHY NOT BLUE, WHITE, LAVENDER, INDIGO, AND FUSHIA?

Lyra is so fun to paint in, here swirls and her blue eyes are so appealing; that's the kind of design I love drawing: somewhat natural, but in a creative way!
