Description Every creature goes through Evolution and the Voreians are no different. The Voreian's homeworld is Vorare-8 (I would've put it as Voretopia-8, but Brownie has already named an au with a name similar to that & I don't want to get sued by her) and have been ruling that place for 3.5 Billion years and have a 8 million year-old galactic empire.

Here are the evolutionary levels the Voreians made from left to right (I decided to update a couple of the earlier models for Vish and Vorephibian to make them more distinct)

Vor (3.5Billion B.C.-1.5Billion B.C.) The Vor were the earliest ancestors of the Voreians. They were simple, single celled creatures capable of absorbing life forms even 50% bigger than them. The largest of them are anywhere between 1-5 Micrometers. The Vor would continue to exist as part of the later generations' Immune System as the Voreian equivalent of neutrophils.

Vorkaryote (1.5Billion B.C.-750Million B.C.) The Vorkaryotes were the first major breakthrough in the evolutionary history of the Voreians. They were the first Multicellular life in Planet Vorare-8. This time, Vorkaryotes were capable of absorbing life forms 70% larger than it. Much like with the Vor, the Vorkaryotes would continue to exist as part of the later generations' Immune Systems as the Voreian equivalent of Macrophages.

Vish (750Million B.C.-450Million B.C.) The Vish were the first complex animals (and superpredators) of Vorare-8. They have sharp fangs and elastic throats and stomachs, both of which would become staples in Voreian natural weaponry. They have a third eye, but it's obscured because of my limited spritework (btw, every evolution afterward would have 3 eyes). Vish have diversified like with Fish on Earth.

Vorphibian (450Million B.C.-400Million B.C.) Vorphibians were the second major breakthrough in the evolutionary history of Voreians. They were the first lifeforms on Vorare-8 to walk on land. They would end up becoming Vorare-8's equivalent of Frogs and other amphibians.

Vormetosuchus (400Million B.C.-200Million B.C.) Vormentosuchus were noteworthy in Voreian Evolution for being the first Voreian subspecies to have prehensile and barbed tails. This was revolutionary at the time and every generation afterward would have this tail in some form, though back then, it was used solely for defensive purposes and to attract mates instead of hunting.

Voraresaurus (200Million B.C.-70Million B.C.) Voraresaurus are essentially to Voreians as Monkeys and primates are to humans. Voraresaurus first appeared 200 million years ago, 135 million years before the first Voreians evolved. Voraresaurus were noteworthy in Voreian Biology for being the first Voreian subspecies to develop a stomach maw and tongue. Every evolution before that had only a normal tongue and maw. They would point their body upward and use the stomach tongue to attack prey form long distances, fish out burrowing creatures, and defend themselves when sleeping. Despite having the ability to swallow prey whole, it took until the evolution of the first Voreians for the evolutionary benefits of swallowing other living creatures whole to become fully realized as they mostly kill and eat their prey like normal animals. Some Voraresaur species were as small as the Compsognathus while others could be as large as earth sauropods. Most of them were carnivores that fed on other life on Voare-8 but some have diversified into herbivores that had become prey to their carnivorous relatives. A lot of these herbivorous species are discerned from their carnivore counterparts by having stomach maws form on their backs rather than their tummies used to collect falling vegetation or to ward off predators. Despite this, some are seen intentionally shooting out thier stomach maws at low-flying animals and gobbling up their slain predators despite their herbivorous stature, though not often since meat takes longer to process than plants in these Voraresaurs. Many Voraresaur species also have a high density in fats and soft tissue, especially with the larger ones looking like a mixture between dinosaurs and whales. Some Voreian biologists jokingly refer to these behemoths as "Land Whales." Most of these fatty deposits are used to store energy for the winter and survive off their fat stores or if the species is native to a cold climate. This adaptation has indirectly resulted in the origin of the Voreians' 2nd most common fetish, Weight Gain.

Vorstropithecus (70Million-65Million B.C.) Since the Voraresaurs did not have an extinction event like with the Dinosaurs, a notable species of Voraresaurus would begin to grow upright and become the Vorstropithecus . As the name implies, Vorstropithecus are a precursor to Voreians in a way similar to how Australopithecus are to humans. From generation to generation, Vorstropithecus would begin to slowly grow smarter and smarter and more upright until they evolve into the first true Voreians and enter the Tribal Stage.

Ancient Voreians (65Million B.C.-8Million B.C.) Ancient Voreians were like every human subspecies that came after Australopithecus. They had their first vore trends which made them realize their capabilities and lived in their quiet corner of the galaxy in relative obscurity for 8 million years until the Grox invaded Vorare-8 and instead of killing the Voreians, they were fascinated over the Voreian's capabilities so they then proceed to brainwash all of the Voreians and kidnapped them to be their pets and attack animals of their galactic invasions.

Vhaales (35Million B.C.-Present) These guys were unlucky. Originally the discoverers of the Grox's true nature, they tried to warn the other Voreians, but a passing Grox captain managed to intercept the message before it could leave the solar system and punished the Voreian world by terraforming it in such a way that only aquatic life could thrive, resulting in the extinction of terrestrial Voreians on that planet and forcing the survivors to abandon their adult forms altogether in an extreme form of neoteny. These creatures range from small dolphinlike creatures to giant behemoths exceeding 140ft.

Pterovore (29Million B.C.-Present) A genetic experiment gone wrong, these creatures were bred to be cheap flyers in the Voreian army, but the Grox deemed it a failure after many unsuccessful attempts of producing a viable adult form that was larger than a pigeon. They eventually evolved into parasites that manipulate their hosts ala the Vore Slugworms in the Arthrozoic.

Vorwool (10Million B.C.-Present) On an Ice planet, some Voreians had evolved to becoming more efficient with fat storage and surviving intense cold. This resulted in the evolution of a morbidly obese species of Voreians that are huge even by Voreian standards and looked more like Hutts than actual Voreians. They live in a hierarchal polygynous system where one male Vorwool can be married to as many as 25 to 40 wives/husbands.

Modern Voreians (8Million B.C.-Present) Voreianis Saurosapien, otherwise known as Modern Voreians, evolved in a Grox-owned planet base that was neglected by the Grox for 2 million years before they first evolved. Unhindered by Grox propaganda as much as their ancestors were in other planets, these fledgling species were quick to understand the true motives of the monstrous Grox whom they once worshipped as Messiahs and gods. Now, however, they saw the Grox for what they really were and where their real home was as they began to resent their former messiah empire. This resentment grew stronger and stronger over generations until it eventually boiled over to pure animosity and hostility towards their captors. This results in a snowball effect as more Voreians learned about the truth that the modern Voreians had unearthed, ultimately resulting in the Voreians uniting together in a campaign with some other unrelated species across the galaxy. This campaign had one unifying goal, the total extinction of all Grox. Countless Voreians gave their lives to defeat the Grox in epoch-spanning wars while the Grox try to suppress them back into being pets, but the stubbornness and determination of the Voreians proved this to be futile as the Voreians eventually took back their homeworld and push the Grox back towards the center of the galaxy. Voreians were once the pets of the Grox, but being this close to them made the Voreians one of the very few species in the galaxy to be able to put up a fair fight against them.

Vorggoth/Shadmaw: (6Million B.C.-Present) Not long after the rebellion started, another species of Voreian evolved, these were the cultists known as Shadmaws or Vorggoths. They were originally outcasts of the Voreian empire. It was their evolution that resulted in the Voreian Empire's only known documented civil war, but they eventually found their way into becoming part of the Voreian mega-empire since their powers proved to be beneficial for Voreian survival.
