I'm so glad you like how he came out. I was honestly unsure what to draw him doing. As for his personality, I'm still unsure what it is! XD
I liked the labyrinth as a kid too, but growing up and rewatching it, I found it stranger.

Hmmm, I'm gonna go look up what chiaroscuro means...

I wanted to just make it interesting. I don't know if you noticed with some of the other drawings, but when I couldn't think of an interesting enough background, I added random blotches of white or color or sparkles. In your drawings case, I had not idea what to put as a background, so I added those fire-like, golden-orange colored dots, as well as white dots.

Oooh, what're the lazarus flowers?

Hmmm, what do you mean by stash pic? If you mean the picture on it's own, I'm sorry to say I'm not sure if I can do that, since all these drawing are literally all drawn on the same page.

i understand <: ) Heck i am not good at backgrounds, but even the most simple can be amazing if you put some oomph into it

Well in my world's perpective, these flowers are often cave dwelling plants that are very common in heronoc city. Despite these flowers being common there, they poscess an ability to revive one's soul and physical form (only applies the ghosts and deceased that still have their bodies) and be brought back to life. Often used as a key ingredient for The Masqerade recruitment program. They are also very shiny and pretty flowers . In this story Yoshi picks one of the flowers for luck (after not making an audition in Heronoc's theater for acrobats).  i could tell you more but it would make this comment the longest ever XD if you want to know more about heronoc and yoshi's love interest let me know :3

Oh okay. That's a cool term to use.

Ooooh that seems like a very interesting flower. But why would he pick it for his love interest? Is she dying?
Also, if the plants are often cave dwelling, why are they common all over the city?

Well, here is the row and this is still an early concept and i could use an opinion, Yang has been dead for about 100 years (info about her his on the link). Although yoshi befriended the ghost in the destroyed Three Gear Theater after the curosity came in. Not to mention yang and her sister yin had been acrobats themselves while they were alive. In which Yang passed a few techniques of her own . Heronoc City is located within a cave that was originally a mining outpost from an empire. Most of them are  surprisingly seen among the Heronoc city prison center and The Masqreade Warehouse (due to the high amount of the deaths or deceased had occurred there)

Whoa, the whole city is in a cave?! :0 Dude that is the coolest! Does that mean they don't see the sun often?
Also, does he give her the flower for comfort? Because if she's been dead for 100 years, I think her body is long gone, right?

They don't get sun as often, but the city was planning on digging a skyline for the city but its controversial due to giving invading forces easy access to the city

At first yes since yoshi only picked the flower caused it looked pretty and it was his first time in heronoc city, so he doesn't know about the flower's power. Yeah her body is long gone, but her spirit haunts the  theater along with the other 8 people that died that day

yeah at first, though yoshi doesn't know about the flower since he has never seen one before, even in his hometown of Coalbrite doesn't have any caves over there since its a costal city
