I've been hinting about what Throe does for a living, but never actually shown it. Until now, thanks to this great piece of art commissioned fromThroe works at Oakington Classic , historically a Gentleman's Club in Manhattan, now a museum and private library. Back home in Norway, Throe used to work in an archive, until he was given this irresistible opportunity. Now he commutes from Newark to Manhattan every day.
What he'd really like to do is work in Oakington's library or achives. For the time being, he's stuck doing guided tours and manning the gift shop. This is partially because he speaks German and can make himself understood in most Scandinavian languages, so he deals with tourists in of those language groups. But he's not complaining, especially not when Betta drops by to flirt. She wasn't the reason he came to America, but she's the reason he's staying!
