I finished watching Rebels as well. It didn't really convince me. The story is a bit sloppy at the beginning, but then it gets better and in the last seasons there are some good episodes. But overall it's nothing compared to Clone Wars, that one's definitely on another level.

I was very disappointed by the animation and drawings, after Clone Wars filled my eyes with endless wonders I expected much more. The new characters have terrible designs, especially Zeb, he's really terrible, I don't know how they came up with such a design; but the worst part is seeing characters from Clone Wars, Ahsoka isn't herself anymore, she looks pretty different (my sister says she's been whitewashed and I think it's quite the right term since the traits she had in Clone Wars have been flattened out), and Lando, terrible. But the worst of all is Yoda, really really horrid hahah
And I find landscapes lazy too. Clone Wars was filled with amazing skies, moons, fluorescent plants, trees, so many different planets, here all planets look the same, but maybe this last thing's wanted, since the Empire took a hold of everything and destroyed whole civilizations.
Unfortunately, I think the drawings mined my affection for the show, since I couldn't stop thinking at how terribly flat and round at the same time they were. It was hard to feel for the characters, only Hera and Kanan really made a breakthrough Having a Twi'lek as a main character was awesooome

But on the bright side I loved the Mandalor episodes and it was amazing to see all those fighters flying around with their jetpacks and shooting around. Plus I really liked how Maul's arc was closed, I'm glad he didn't actually die in the Phantom Menace, this way they were able to make much more with such a great character.
