Love the style of sword design. Dropped edge kind of reminds me of the knivemaker Jesper Voxnæs stuff. Check out [link] and [link]
Not sure how useful a blunt tip would be in practical terms though. A pointed tip was traditionally used to piece the flesh and hence kill/maim the opponent, by exploiting any gaps in the armour (usually at the movement joints), knees and armpits being favourite but I get that this is a stylistic piece! Good work.
