Description
Many regions at planet Artemis are covered by deserts and semideserts. That is characteristic especially for country Regnum Syriae at planet Artemis, which has covered more than 3/4 of country by deserts. Especially large deserts are in southern regions in country. Only exception in south part of country, which are not totally hostile for life are parts along river flowing in south and parts in high mountain range Tartaros (up to 9 km are the largest summits of mountain range in south of country), where in some parts of moutains with higher altitude is higher annual rainfall. Thanks that at least sparse vegetation grows in the highest altitude of mountain and very rarely also centuries old resistant trees - like this Silver trees endemic only in Tartaros mountains. Silver trees even form loose forest in places, where ground water is near to surface. These forest (which survived cutting in past) are home to many enedmic rare plant and animal species due to isolation of those localities from other "green" regions on planet Artemis.
