Description Lot of regions at planet Artemis are covered by deserts and semideserts. That is characteristic especially for country Regnum Syriae at planet Artemis, which has covered more than 3/4 of country by deserts and only norther corner of country adjacent to sea is covered by forests or fields and meadows. Especially large deserts are placed in southern regions in country.

Only exception in south part of country, which are not totally hostile for life are parts along river flowing in south and parts in high mountain range Tartaros (up to 9 km are the largest summits of mountain range in south of country), where in some parts of moutains with higher altitude is higher annual rainfall. Thanks that at least sparse vegetation grows in the highest altitude of mountains. And also some vegetation is growing along streams flowing from melting glaciers. Glaciers are especially placed in central mountain ridge, where summits reach around 8 km height. But some summits like for instance Vertenix (at distance right at picture at horizon) are protruding significantly above the mountain ridge. No surprise, because height of Devil's Tooth is 10018 m a s.l. at planet Artemis. It is the highest peak at all planet Artemis.

Due to complicated position in remote regions (and complicated logistic in desert region), goverenment of Regnum Syriae limits any visits to peak and only several yearly are allowed, which are won in lottery.
