What to say about and there precious little gold mine they call "My little Pony".I sure hope they havent forgot any of there old toy products that later on got there own cartoon show.
I did not grow up with the G.I Joe series or any of there military toys, I was more for LEGO back in my younger days.
But then I discoverd the cartoon later and then I sure got hooked up on something really awesome

I think MLP is a fine show (I can't say I watch it tho LOL ) but it's not bad or mean spirited or anything.

LOL They were all pretty funny so more in spirit but, when it comes to the VILLAINS, absolutely!
Cobra Commander is the largest inspiration for the Skelly King, he doesn't get cowardly tho, but he does get easily distracted and upset like he did
Baroness is a large inspiration for the character of Lucy, although she has not appeared in the comic yet.
I mean I can give you the list if you want:
Random Everetti - Batman the Animated Series Bruce Wayne (whom apparently is much nicer and more moral then the comic one), Sherlock Holmes, and Kamina but you probably knew that one, Kamen Rider Original

But yeh, I have thought alot about this crossover lately and would make most of a good story if Cobra discovers about Sunset Shimer and her origin world and they kidnap her in order to know more about magic and such.

Yeah, I can agree with that story idea. My theory's that COBRA plans to strip Twilight Sparkle & Sunset Shimmer of their magic so they can both learn about magic & feed a creature energy embodiment of darkness, literally called "The Darkness".
