I can't believe I forgot to post this here...

This is an old sketch from a nightbane game I ran. I let the players choose their background and the player of this character chose to be the NJROTC prodigy of his father a very militant Afghanistan vet, alcoholic, and avid big game hunter. His morphus took on aspects of a bear that tried to kill him while out hunting with his father. Its huge size and four arms made it a real tank in melee combat.

The best words to describe their bond is one of mutual respect as the kid did eventually manage to kill the bear that was mauling him. But not before it left its marks.
