Description
I am a lazy poet
I write couplets at the most, although I wish to write a play
but for the effort expended, it allows me to boast
“Look at me” I can say, “My work is here” loud and clear!
Even if my poem is about toast
I could have described a meadow in May, But then that wouldn't be me
I would rather describe the coast on a clear October day
But until my head and hand can read my heart, I will write what I cannot say
If this is any indication, I will write couplets 'till I decay.
