Nel 1959, la crescita della popolazione conseguente al boom economico aveva imposto all’Atm di dotarsi di veicoli con grande capienza; venne così costruita la "Serie 2800", formata da 116 vetture della "Serie 2100/2200" costruita nel 1933-38, ogni nuova vettura era composta dalle casse di due vetture tramviarie unite insieme, in modo da formare una sola vettura; la costruzione venne affidata alle officine Stanga, Moncenisio e Seac. L'unità n.2847 è stata ritirata nel 2008 e restaurata riportandola all'aspetto originale degli anni '30

Edizione 2021 del "Torino Trolley Festival" organizzato da GTT Torino e ATTS - Associazione torinese tram storici; protagonisti i tram storici di Torino di ATTS, a cominciare dalla vettura più vecchia ancora operativa, la vettura n.116 del 1911, fino a una delle più recenti, la vettura n.2759 del 1959, impiegate in giri rievocativi per tutta la giornata, per festeggiare il 150° anniversario dei tram a Torino

Due to the growth of the population in the economic boom years in 1959, Atm needed new high-capacity trams; thus the "2800 Series" was built, made up of 116 tram vehicles of the "2100/2200 Series" built in 1933-38, each new tram was composed of the chassis of two tram vehicles joined together, so as to form a single tram vehicle; the construction was entrusted to Stanga, Moncenisio and Seac workshops. The unit n.2847 has been withdrawn in 2008 and restored bringing it back to its original 1930s look

2021 edition of the "Turin Trolley Festival" organized by GTT Turin and "ATTS - Turin's Historical Tramways Association"; the protagonists are the historic Turin trams of ATTS, starting with the oldest tramcar still in operation, the 1911 unit n.116, up to one of the most recent, the 1959 unit n.2759, used in evocative tours throughout the day, to celebrate 150 Anniversary of trams in Turin
