Custom Gladky's Workshop Transformers Deadpool Prime

Ladies and gentleman. I am honoured to present to you my latest custom. After Stig and Batman this is the third of my crossovers. This time it is fans favourite merc with the mouth – Deadpool!

One of my main Ideas for this custom was using the figure with modern style muscle car alt mode. I believe it fits Deadpool really well and this is what the character would choose for his alternate form. I chose Transformers Prime Robots in Disguise Hot Shot as my base. After some modifications this mold will work very well. The first thing you can notice is completely new paint scheme and transparent xenon headlights. While designing the paint scheme I decided to give it a fair balance between black and red colours. This way Deadpool style should fit the figure and reduce the chance of confusing character with Cliffjumper.

Deadpool was based on Transformers Prime Hot Shot. This means the toy is more or less the size of a standard deluxe. If you look carefully you will see a brand new logo on the buckle of the robot. I added a few minor mods, but the must noticable thing is a completely new paint job. It is based on metallic red and black colours. I believe those match Deadpool fairly well. After adding some extra details i applied gloss clearcoat. Head needed some minor mods. The most obvious one was removing „glasses” and pegs needed to connect stock element. I also slightly modified lightpiping. Transparent part is smaller but it still gives enough light for the eyes. I have also added white details to complete this "Deadpool look". Just like my previous customs, Deadpool also has a lot of painted details. One of the most noticable ones are the new transparent headlights with black detailing. Rims got some silver paint, that made them look similar to shurikens. Another detail that I believe Deadpool would like I used black and red paint on the hands. There are also some red and silver accents. Perceptive viewers may notice small magnets on the top of hands. Those can be used for some of the accessories.

I believe Deadpool wouldn't like to be associated with any fraction. I think however, that it is very likely that one day he would like to be an honorary Autobot. That's why I created small Autobot insignia and put it on magnet. The logo can be attached to figure, as you could see in the first robot mode photo. Deadpool got two guns that were painted in his colour scheme. There are even Deadpool's insignia on each of the weapons Figure can easily wield the guns. I believe it is a fair equivalent of ones known from comic books. For tougher adversaries I gave Deadpool much bigger gun. Another interesting accessory is custom made nunchuck. It has Deadpool colurs and two energon chains that in my opinion really match the Transformers aspect of character. „Chains” are long and flexible enough to allow some really cool poses. I got rid of the „sunglasses” pegs, and replaced them with magnets. This way scopes can be easily removed. I decided to change boring regular blue glasses into proper 3D experience. I also added red line across the part and I even found a place for two tiny Deadpool logos.

No Deadpool can be complete without his Chimichangas! That's why I added this tasty plate. The plate has small magnet underneath. This way it can be attached to the hand. Another funny accessory is Deadpool's faithful dog – Dogpool! Now our favorite merc with the mouth can easily walk his dog

Another cool accessory is The Matrix of Deadpoolship! It's a fun piece I believe Deadpool really deserved. It has two magnets within, that allow to open the matrix and light the darkest hour!

Of course I could not forget about scratch built Deadpool's katanas! I also created special mount for the swords. Thanks to magnets hidden within figure and the mount, swords can be easily stored on Deadpool's back.

Bonus

While creating this custom I wanted to do something a little bit different than usual. That's why Deadpool got his own box! It has transparent front that displays figure and all of its accessories. Box is made of thin wood. It has styrofoam tray and was padded with material to achieve the premium look. Of course every accessory has its place.There is also small metal hitch that prevents box from accidentally opening and ribbon with which front won't open too wide.
