"Eden" LaurentVoice Reference: Richard Armitage
With a less british-leaning accent, but the soft and modulated way he speaks is what I've always imagined for him. And a surprisingly deep voice!

Species: Archael
Anima Type: Vatian (mind)
Height/Weight: 5'7"/ 112lbs (Archaels have hollow bones for flight. This does unfortunately also make their bones more fragile.)
Sex and Orientation: Male, assumes to be gay. He doesn't really care about gender, he defaults as male if asked or for documentation, but his role as 'vessel' has him numb to his sense of identity.
Language: El'lybic
Home planet: Damascus, then relocated to Bhessex (civilization recently wiped). His species' home planet is Avallon, locked in a pocket dimension, the closest civilization to Entropy.
Religious: VERY. He considers Archael beliefs a large part of his identity-- so much so, that it can be considered a disadvantage in some situations.
Favorite Food: Not much of an eater, has a mostly carnivorous diet but does enjoy fruits, especially strawberries! A bagel with cream cheese and strawberry jam is his favorite.
Favorite Color: Lavender
Trivia:
- Had long hair down to almost his ankles until he was convinced by Micah to join VESHA. Those allowed to touch him (Cherub Archaels) would often braid his hair, or he would just ponytail it.
- Tattoos were burned into his skin as a lesson when he was 18.
- Had a twin sister who was also pure (an impossibility). For [spoilers] she was accidentally killed before him a little after they turned 13. In the ensuing struggle, Julien's father, his remaining parent, stopped Eden from also being killed, but was mortally injured in the process.
- Julien had always hated Eden, but it was only after their relocation to Bhessex that Julien would stop, their combined grief bringing them closer, and their relationship improves drastically after.
- Was suicidal for a large part of his young adult life due to constant impossible standards to be perfect, and not having any freedom.
- Is hopelessly in love with Julien...but suppresses this as if his life depends on it.
- Ends up catching feelings for Micah (albeit short lived)
- Fluent in 3 languages: El'lybic, Terran, and Maezzal
- Throughout the actual written story, his wings are only shown a total of 3 times!
Personality:
He does, unfortunately, carry traits that Archaels tend to have, such as lack of empathy, self-centeredness, callous and coldness, a need to be in control at all times, and a general discontent and distrust of others. However, he tries his best to keep himself in check and learn, and does occasionally display emotions and kindnesses that aren't typical of his species.

- Reasonable, one can always argue their side or opinion and he will consider it fairly.
- Practical
- Stoic, keeps his struggles and emotions internalized.
- Chivalrous
- Decisive (almost aggressively so), if he makes up his mind about something, he's not easily swayed from it.
- Calm and collected, hard to rile a reaction or anger from.
- Passive, will avoid confrontation and fighting, even if it's desperately needed. Will only fight if he has no other choice/can't escape.
Species Ability:
Divine Influence
Archaels are born with slit irises that can open when they want to activate their ability, which is a sort of mind control. Their bodies are not able to handle the volatile psychic energy it emits when activated when younger, so it's use is only available when they're fully developed at 22. It can ONLY be used on other magic using species, but there are exceptions since not all people within a species is born equal (such as if a human was born on an anima planet, their genetic makeup would be altered for the use of anima, though they wouldn't be dependent on it, they would be considered Anima Proficient. So, normal humans can't be mind controlled, but anima proficient humans can. If you're considered a wizard/warlock/mage/sorcerer/etc, you can be Influenced).
- It's considerably powerful but is not always absolute.
- Cannot be used to erase or rewrite memory, is mostly a method of extreme persuasion.
- The more impurities in anima, the less effective the control. Some commoner Archaels can't really use it at all.
- Depending on the willpower of the victim, they could force themselves out of their control with some struggle, or it could immediately possess them. The more a victim fights it, the more strain is put on the user to maintain control.
- It can be flashed threateningly without being used, as a warning.
- Can be used on a single person, or its range can be increased with focus to control groups at once. The purer the users anima, the larger AOE the control has. The more people at once, the faster anima is consumed.
- Depending on the command, it can last anywhere from a minute or so or up to a couple months for long-term commands.
- It drains a lot of anima very quickly.
- Some people will seek out Archaels to have sexual fantasies fulfilled. While they do desire sex just like others, they do not appreciate being requested of this... Very rude.
- Can be used on other Archaels! If they both use it at the same time, it creates a psychic eruption that sends shockwaves (potentially for miles). Psychic battles between two Archaels are FIERCE and volatile and anyone nearby should evacuate immediately.
