Another kind of experimental piece? with Julien this time ;>
He deserves some trauma fkgjfj

This is a very critical part of Julien's arc! And in general, as this is where we first meet Lyos "out in the wild", in his Walker form...
I pumped it out SHOCKINGLY fast, I had the vision for it in my head really solidly, and it came out more or less how I pictured it, which makes me really pleased :> I'm a little disappointed in the face-- the eye(s?) needed to convey a more intense feeling of fear and shock and it just looks like shock to me?

I thought about adding the writing snippet I have for this scene, but I've been struggling a bit to find a way to write inside Eden's hivemind in a satisfying way;; to make it come off as a shock to not only readers, but also HIM. And also in a way that isn't an obvious spoiler way before the official narrative reveal? (and without also insulting my audience's intelligence LMFAO)
But! It is kinda fun figuring that out and exploring different ways I can write the hivemind. Experimentation is fun :>

I sent it to my fiancé and he thought I killed him, gh-- dfgfkg
I mean, Julien definitely fuckin wishes he was, instead of not being able to use anima at all
-- That's another fun consequence resulting from this scene! Writing Julien in a completely different state of mind, like a different person entirely, until his sigil is repaired. <3
