"The Pilgrimage to Sto'Vo'Kor" depicts the voyage to the physical gateway to Sto'Vo'Kor. This Mars sized planet is as hot as Venus and unable to support even Klingon life. Klingons who make the pilgrimage (in orbit above Sto'Vo'Kor) will sit before a flame and recite chants to Kahless in hopes of having a vision of Kahless. This is similar to the Apache Sweat Lodge (another great warrior race). The Federation calls Sto'Vo'Kor "The Hornets Nest".
