I did the unforgivable sin of watching a popular anime and got a bit too hooked and made an oc. She looks like pretty much any sona I have lol and I have come to hate drawing all the straps and stuff, so complex..! Anyways, onto her bio that is still a bit of a WIP but I have most of the foundations.

Personality: Zale is described as quiet and often focused. She prefers to execute missions as fast as possible, believing one second lost is one more second for titans to eat them. Though she doesn’t show it very outwardly, Zale does care for her fellow scouts and will come to their aid if they are grabbed by a titan. Although she is very interested in Hange’s work, she doesn’t have the level of empathy towards them like Hange does. She will not hesitate to kill any titan in the area if the order is given.

[History]
Zale grew up in a loving family on the far side of Wall Maria with her parents and 2 younger siblings. Her parents, more specifically her father, gave her and her siblings greek names to hide their asian heritage due to them being incredibly rare. They also taught them about titans and why they had to stay within the walls. They attempted to explain the outside world, however information about the outside world was hard to find and get ahold of through legal means. They somehow were able to venture outside the wall and tell the children about what they saw, though they never wanted to go too far from the city. When she was about 12 years old, Zale’s parents went out on another one of their “expeditions” but never returned that day, or the day after that. It became a greater concern when there had been titans roaming rather close to the walls. Believing they were as good as dead, the Garrison stationed at their town didn’t hesitate and took the Alexandrou kids from their home, placed the younger siblings in foster care while Zale was forcibly enlisted into the military.

Her 3 years as a cadet were grueling but she quickly made a friend in one of the cadets that was assigned to her cabin. They had developed a friendly rivalry and would often try to out perform each other in the exercises. By the time graduation was around, the pair’s bond was stronger than ever and both had made it into the top 10 (Zale was 3rd while her friend was 4th). During the reception, Zale was asked by her fellow cadets where she would enlist and if she'd enter the Military Police. Many of them were shocked when she said she planned to join Recon. They thought she was crazy but her friend thought it was brave of her to do so and wanted to tag along too. Out of the top ten cadets of their class, Zale and her friend were the only ones to not enlist in the Military Police.

[Fun-Facts/Extra Information]
-Beliving the gas canisters are too heavy, Zale uses gas canisters half the size of the standard canisters. This enables her to move much quicker, however, it also means she must rely more on gravity to move around.
-Another modification she has made to her ODM gear are retractable blades. She keeps replacement blades in a much smaller holder that is almost half the length and 3 quarters the width of the standard ones.
-Hange Zoe could be considered her best friend among the scouts. They often trade information and ideas on new technologies that can better help the scouts fight or research the titans. However they eventually grow closer and start dating, though it wasn't well sustained because of their work. However, they do eventually realize how close they are during the retaking of Maria and decide to make their bond an eternal one.
-After the retaking of Trost, Zale was temporarily moved to Levi's squad to assist them during the 57th Expedition. There, she really got to know Petra and her squadmates. Losing them reminded her of her first expedition when her previous friend died.
