Description
I legit struggled on the title for this for like 10 whole minutes. Anywho, here I'm displaying the powers of the old apprentice vs the new. Wyrm was Apothy's first apprentice, and your first try at something new is never usually your best.Wyrm didn't have arms, as he is a Clodian, so he had no way to direct or expell his magic. Apothy did what he could to teach Wyrm with what little he had to learn with, but he thought it better to keep things from getting too dangerous by pushing the boundaries. If a live wire has no conduit, the energy can't escape, but a frayed wire is much more dangerous. Idk about electricity, but hopefully that's a functional comparison. So, why does Wyrm have arms and magic now? I won't spell out everything, cuz idk what I'll do with this story later on, but it has something to do with Mortisma.
As for Fisk, Apothy handled him much better as an apprentice. There were some minor hiccups here and there, and some old curriculum teaching needed adjusted, but Fisk is well on his way to become an accomplished magician. It definitely helped to start out with arms, though.
